JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
POSITION : Purchasing Analyst
DUTIES : Research the market domestically and internationally and analyze suppliers price, quality and availability. Analyze and compare price and non-price factors to create detailed summaries for negotiations. Develop and update purchase sourcing database for garment production including spend value, pricing and volumes by supplier, location, product. Collect and evaluate supplier/manufacturer profile, financial information, customer details capacity, capabilities and locations. Assess international economic, political factors, and incorporate them in purchasing decisions. Organize and document analysis and assumptions for future reference.
HOURS : 40 hours per week (full-time and permanent position)
REQUIREMENT : MBA, International Business Administration, International Trade or a Bachelors degree plus 5 yrs of progressive experience in field will be accepted.
